About Me

Hi.  Welcome to my blog.  My name is Nina and I’m on a mission to share the joy that the Camino brings to my fellow NYC Peregrinos.

In 2012, I learned about the lovely pilgrimage called the Camino de Santiago.  In early 2013, in preparation for my upcoming pilgrimage later that year, I started a local NYC meetup group to bring together New Yorkers who have or want to walk the Caminio.  In June of that year, I turned 30 at Cruz de Ferro along the Camino de Santiago Frances route.

Since 2013, what started out as a selfish pursuit to talk to someone who has done the journey, turned into a community with over 300 members and an official chapter of a national non-profit American Pilgrims on the Camino (‘APOC’).  And this summer (2016) I get to walk the entire Camino Frances from Saint Jean Pied de Port to Santiago and hopefully to the end of the world (Finesterra and Muxia).

Follow my adventures along the Camino de Santiago (and other wonderful locations around the world) as I live through the best years of my life.

Buen Camino!
